If you have a lab report, receipt or past appraisal, set it out with the piece. It helps, but it is not required.
Diamond jewelry

No. A lab report helps if you have one, but Matthew can evaluate a diamond without it.
Can you tell me if my diamond is real?
Yes. Matthew checks each stone at your table and explains what he finds.
Is a verbal appraisal the same as an insurance appraisal?
No. A verbal appraisal is a spoken assessment, and it is free. GIA written appraisals are available by request for a fee.
Do you buy loose diamonds?
Yes, as well as diamonds set in rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
Do you buy chipped or damaged diamonds?
We look at them. Damage affects value, and Matthew will explain how much.
Can I sell my engagement ring and keep the wedding band?
Yes. You decide piece by piece.
